Mo was first introduced to Fascial Counterstrain in 2017, when her dentist and a massage therapist referred her to Counterstrain Portland for treatment. She began taking classes in 2020 and started incorporating the technique into her practice. However, the constraints of the traditional healthcare setting did not allow enough time to fully embrace the modality with patients. She is now able to fully embrace the modality here at Counterstrain Portland. In addition to recently completing a certificate program in Massage Therapy, Mo brings a diverse professional background to her clinical application of FCS and manual therapy. She graduated 2012 with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies from George Washington University. She has advanced training and a certification in functional medicine and enjoys teaching yoga. She believes in applying holistic principles to health and wellness by addressing the whole person.
