Cristina Shupe PT completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition with a specialty in Dietetics at the University of Arizona and then earned her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine's Institute of Physical Therapy. Cristina began learning and practicing Strain Counterstrain 2002 and took her first Fascial Counterstrain course in 2013. To date, she has completed: FCS Introduction; FCS for the Visceral System, FCS for the Lymphatic/Venous System; FCS for the Arterial System; FCS for the Nervous System, Part 1; and FCS for the Musculoskeletal System, Part 1. She continues to pursue completion of all the FSC classes and Counterstrain Academy Module course work towards mastery. Cristina is the founder and co-owner of Calyx Therapeutics, an integrative physical therapy clinic in San Francisco, CA and specializes in the treatment of pelvic pain and dysfunction in women and men.
