Doug Ball, MPT ATC

Doug began his interest in physical therapy as a teenager when he tore his ACL as a senior in high school. After going to physical therapy for post surgical rehab he knew what he wanted to do when he grew up. Fast forward several years when he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Brigham Young University in 1996, in preparation to attend PT school. He graduated from Idaho State University in 1998 with a Master of Physical Therapy. He began his career as a high volume outpatient sports medicine clinician. Fast forward 20 years when he experienced fascial counterstain after attending his first Jones Institute strain counterstain class, where the instructor performed one fascial counterstain technique that resolved his chronic SI pain. He was pain free for eight months, and quickly realized he couldn't help his patients to that extent with his current knowledge. He was hooked, and has been all in since! The Fascial Counterstrain technique has been the biggest game changer in our practice.
