Valerie Stapel, PT, LMT
Valerie Stapel has been practicing as a manual therapist for over 37 years. She started her journey with classic counterstrain in 2002 and has advanced into utilizing fascial counterstrain almost exclusively since 2011. She has taken every JI fascial counterstrain course to date, as well as module 1 and 2 through Counterstrain Academy. In August 2023 she became a Certified Fascial Counterstrain Practitioner. Her passion is to get to the origin of the physical dysfunction with the gentle healing of fascial counterstrain. She specializes in pelvic health in addition to treating orthopedic conditions. She has recently gotten her LMT to be able to practice in Virginia by direct access.
