Yiju Chen, DPT
Dr. Chen received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in physical therapy from Yang-Ming University in Taiwan. After a few years of clinical practice, she finished her Doctorate degree in 2015 from Loma Linda University in Southern California. And practiced in outpatient clinics since 2015 in Maryland and DC.
During her years as a dancer and volleyball player, Dr. Chen suffered from many different sports injuries. She began to explore the appropriate treatment for herself, as well as the endless possibilities of our bodies. Throughout her practices, she learned many different aspects of physical therapy, including fascia counterstrain, dry needling, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, Gyrotonic and Pilates.
Dr. Chen enjoys tennis, rock climbing, snowboarding, kayaking and hanging out with her cats.
