Fascial Counterstrain is the difference between treating the symptom and treating the cause. By leading me, the practitioner, to the cause of your symptoms, even if that cause seems unrelated, I can target the root of your problems and therefore relieve your symptoms as well as the cause of them. Counterstrain guides us through the complex web of fascia that surrounds and intersects every system of the body. With simple adjustments, Counterstrain reduces the tone and reactivity of specific connective tissue. It’s not only a solution to your current pain and dysfunction, but a prophylactic for future breakdown. It’s a solution that reduces treatment time and expense and returns you to you, and all the things you love.

Jonathan Eaton, PT

Jonathan was first introduced to Strain/Counterstrain in 2005 and utilized it as his primary treatment approach until 2018 when he took his first Fascial Counterstrain class. He struggled with making the shift from one to the other until having a personal experience in 2019 with FCS. Having first hand knowledge of the impact that FCS can have on someone’s quality of life was the final nudge that he needed to dive headfirst into the FCS training. Since then he has witnessed the powerful impact of FCS in his patients and has enjoyed watching them achieve their goals.
