Benjamin Bartlein, LMT, CSCI
Ben has been utilizing Counterstrain since 2013, and it was in that first year that he became a full convert to this powerful treatment approach. After being a victim of a car accident, leaving him with both a concussion and musculoskeletal pain, Counterstrain proved itself to be singularly effective in recovery. His direct experience with a relief and healing that was not achieved with chiropractic, massage, or acupuncture sent him on a path to master this unique therapy. Benjamin’s has honed his intuitive and holistic approaches through years of applying Eastern modalities of bodywork. However, it is with the gentle precision of Fascial Counterstrain that he creates powerful healing treatments for individuals looking to overcome pain, optimize their performance, and deepen their connection with their health and body.

Lory Yeh, DPT, OCS, LAc
Lory’s introduction to Counterstrain was before starting graduate school. She observed the quick and positive impact of Counterstrain on patient’s symptoms while assisting at a rehabilitation facility. This was the motivation to earning her DPT at University of Southern California in 2009. She immediately went on to receive a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in 2012. She has completed all the most current Fascial Counterstrain courses through the Jones Institute and utilizes this technique as the foundation of her manual therapy practice at InBalance AcuPT. Lory has a passion for understanding the human body and is constantly reaching towards perfecting her skills as a practitioner. Naturally, Lory continues on the path to mastering Counterstrain through Counterstrain Academy.

Circulating blood through healthy movement is the very best medicine that can ever be provided, the best antidepressant, antibiotic, antiviral, energy pill and even pain reliever. From my own experience, it can be very discouraging to get up and move when you are in pain.
After experiencing firsthand, as a patient suffering from concussion syndrome and chronic back pain, relief with Fascial Counterstrain Therapy (FCS), I immediately began ongoing training through The Jones Institute for Fascial Counterstrain. Today, I have completed every Jones Institute class offered and use FCS therapy to help many men & women suffering from chronic pain of all sorts. I also instruct clean living, as well as disease management through nutrition and exercise. I believe that the best health insurance you can invest in, is your own health and wellness!
